  • Brisket Flat vs Point
  • Seasoning and Cooking an Award Winning Beef Brisket
  • Plating Brisket for Competitions
  • How to make Award Winning Burnt Ends with Smoked Whiskey Brown Sugar
  • Award Winning Smoked Chicken, Preparation, Seasoning, Smoking.

​               ​Cooking will be done on a Smokin' Brothers Pellet Grill, explanation of the difference between a Charcoal grill vs Pellet will take place as well, Big Green Eggs will be available as well.

Everyone wants to make Grand Champion BBQ, well these two Architecture Professionals,
Frank Neagle and Chad Warner did just that!
They created YES, DEAR BBQ competition team.

Yes, Dear BBQ is a Savannah based competition BBQ team headed by Pitmasters Frank Neagle and Chad Warner. They started competing professionally in 2011, and since then have won multiple Grand Championships and Reserve Grand Championships, as well as first place awards in brisket, chicken, ribs, and pork. 

Most recently, Yes, Dear was awarded 2 “180” (perfect) scores at Kansas City BBQ Society contests in both Brisket and smoked beans, and winning a reserve grand championship out of 90 professional teams. 

In 2015, Yes, Dear released their first batch of BBQ sauces including the “Red Sauce,” a sweet, spicy, tangy, tomato based sauce, and “Yellow Sauce” a sweet mustard based sauce. Both are available for purchase at Smoke and Bones Woodshed and online.

All classes include between 2 to 3 hours of instruction, sampling of the created dishes, interactive instruction, all recipes covered in the class will be provided, Special class pricing on all  Big Green Eggs and 10% off total purchase made at Smoke & Bones Woodshed the day of the class!

Our classes are taught outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. We will provide some refreshments.

25 students per class.
